But in the interest of the viewing public, I did break off a few gems at work this weekend.

Tropical Storm Julio was reported to be “targeting the Baja Peninsula” on Saturday, which happened to be future Hall of Famer Julio Franco’s 50th* birthday. Little do the people of the Baja Peninsula know that the storm is going to hit .300 and stick around for 29 years.

Also, Sunday was the birthday of a few celebrities… Steve Guttenberg turned 50, Dave Chappelle 35 and MARLEE MATLIN IS 43!!!! (Admittedly, this one is much better in the spoken word.)
